Post to Coast was a labour completely born from my love of the sea and a place surrounded by it: Bermuda.
It was a personal project for me to occupy my hands with something physical that I could send to friends and family far away, that through social media, turned into a business venture by overwhelming demand.
I developed sets of prints of the 10 original watercolour portrayals of various parts of the island in notecard form, selling from $3.00 to $25.00, with limited stock. Fueled only by word-of-mouth and a completely free and self-implemented social media campaign, I managed to turn a profit in just a few months.
Since then, I only take commissions for individual cards and larger art projects and prints, but it was a truly fulfilling project and gave me a full experience of creating, marketing and selling a line of artistic products, and how to simultaneously be economical and ecological.
